c.1952 Tico Toys/Rosbro, Orange Halloween Witch on White Motorcycle
A couple months ago I found a scarce Tico Toys/Rosbro, Black Halloween Witch on a White Motorcycle with Orange Wheels. There's only one other variation of this toy that's even more scarce and that's this one; a Tico Toys/Rosbro Orange Halloween Witch on White Motorcycle with Yellow Wheels. And although the previous toy graded near mint this example grades higher; near mint+ to mint condition. The cycle, witch, and pumpkin are molded in white plastic. The wheels are molded in yellow plastic. The orange details are painted. However, even in its most common configuration (molded orange, green wheels and black painted details) this early Halloween toy is considered rare. Even more important and just as uncommon is the condition of the piece; Near Mint+ to Mint without a single crack, chip, scuff, rub, scratch, or spot of wear. White areas are bright white. Painted areas are bold and strong. It's all original with all original paint. Nothing has been touched up or repainted. It has a tiny spot of factory underspray on the tip of the broom handle. The only thing which keeps it from grading higher are two pinpoint size wear spots on the center of the left leg just above the left foot. They can barely be seen in my photos.
